Sheikh Nayef bin Eid Al-Thani, Chairman of Retaj Group, said: “ today the partnership between Retaj Hotels and Hospitality and Beytturk company comes from the premise of the distinguished Turkish-Qatari relations that sincerely express the size and level of ties that link the two peoples and whose foundations were laid by His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, Prince of Qatar and His Excellency Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of the Republic of Turkey, has contributed to elevating the ties between the two brotherly countries to wider horizons.” Sheikh Nayef added that Retaj Company, as one of the leading national Qatari companies in the field of tourism and real estate, seeks to be a key player in strengthening and developing these relations, through the leading Turkish tourism market.

Sheikh Nayef also pointed out that the expansion of The Retaj Group is launched through many constructive and distinguished partnerships in accordance with its vision and mission to look for various investment opportunities inside and outside Qatar, where Retaj Group has been keen since its inception in 2004, To achieve its mission and gain the trust of its customers and has achieved successes and a good reputation in the field of hotel management and hospitality at the local and international markets.

He also added that the series of local and foreign hotels that have been established has been observing all international standards of being environmentally friendly and meet all the modern needs of guests while maintaining high levels of luxury and privacy and providing the comfortable accommodation style needed by guests and offering the highest halal standards of service and hospitality taken from the authentic Arabian heritage.

This came during the signing ceremony of “Retaj inn Yalova Hotel ” management agreement, that took place in Vichy Retaj Salwa Resort in Doha, between Retaj Hotels & Hospitality and Beytturk company, H.E. Sheikh Nayef bin Eid Al Thani, Chairman of Retaj Group, and Mr. Engin Barman, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Beytturk company, signed the agreement in the presence of Mr. Burak Guresci, Commercial Counselor at Turkish Embassy in Doha, Mr. Saeed Al Nabet, Retaj Group CEO, Mr. Medhat Nouby, Retaj Hotels & Hospitality CEO, and leaders and officials from both sides.

The signing of the new management contract is part of the Strategy of Retaj Hotels, as one of the leading Qatari national companies in the Hotels and Hospitality sector, to expand locally, regionally and internationally.

During his speech Mr. Burak Guresci, conveyed the sincerest congratulations from Ambassador of Turkey to Qatar HE Mr. Fikret Ozer, wishing success to the two leading groups. Mr. Burak stressed during his speech on the depth of relations between the two countries, and that the Turkish embassy sees the signing of this agreement as an important step in strengthening bilateral economic relations between the two countries, especially after the signing of the Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement last year. He also added that, Turkey always welcomes and provides a favorable investment climate for Arab investors in general and Qatari in particular, and this was clearly reflected in the tourism sector, bringing the number of Qatari tourists to Turkey to 97 thousand in 2018, an increase of about 97% from last year, also in the Turkish real estate sector, the purchase of real estates witnessed a significant increase in the number of Qatari compared to last year

Retaj Hotels and Hospitality CEO Mr. Medhat Nouby, commented that the signing of “Retaj Inn Yalova” management agreement with Beytturk company, which consists of 645 units between hotel studios, apartments and villas in the picturesque city of Yalova, which is scheduled to start with 250 keys in its first phase , to reach its full capacity by the end of 2020, is a continuation of Retaj Hotels ambitious plans, towards achieving its vision to expand locally, regionally and globally. He added “the world is in a continuous development and so is Retaj, which works to keep abreast of successive developments in hospitality concepts around the world, by providing an authentic Arabian and Halal hospitality model in a modern concept that aims to promote the vision of Retaj hotels to the world, and this is what differentiate us from other renowned brands worldwide”.

Mr. Medhat added that, in continuation of Retaj’s vision and message in providing Halal hospitality, which is expected, according to the last report from the Halal Crescent and MasterCard issued in 2019, that the market for those looking for this concept, will reach $ 220 billion by 2020 at a growth rate of 36% to reach $ 300 billion over the following six years, these numbers cannot be ignored, and we are working to take advantage of this rapid growth with an expansion plan in Asia, Africa and Europe to reach more than 50 hotels around the world by 2023.

From his side, Mr. Engin Barman, Chairman of Beytturk, expressed his gratitude to His Excellency The President of Turkey, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, Prince of Qatar for establishing this intimate friendship between the two countries and the implications of this mutual friendship on trade and economy between the two countries, explaining that the volume of trade between the two countries that was established through this friendship has exceeded $ 2.4 billion in 2018 and continues to increase and that the State of Qatar’s investment in Turkey has reached $ 20 billion, and that Beytturk is proud of its role in achieving this number through selling homes to hundreds of Qatari families in particular, along with thousands of families from the Gulf countries, and that the company is making great strides by continuing its development in various sectors such as construction, real estate, industry and tourism.

The signing ceremony also included a presentation from Mr. Islam Yussri, , Retaj Hotels & Hospitality Regional Director of Business Development, through which he reviewed existing projects and some future projects under the strategy of Retaj Hotels to expand locally and regionally, explaining that the company today is currently managing and providing franchise rights to more than 18 hotels in Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Mauritania, Comoros, Turkey and soon in Sudan, Algeria, Oman and Thailand, and planning to reach 50 hotels by 2023.
